Have a Question?

    Vehicle Maintenance & Inspections

At Tiger Auto Repair, we have tailored our Oil Change Maintenance Package to not only change the vehicle oil and oil filter, but to also complete a multi-point peace of mind maintenance and safety inspection. This preventative maintenance package can help Calgary drivers avoid potentially costly vehicle repairs.

Our trained technicians will replace the oil and oil filter with manufacturer recommended viscosity grade oil, and brand name filter. They will also visually inspect the following components of your vehicle:

    • The front end , including the shock absorbers, steering components and struts
    • The brakes , both the front and rear brake systems
    • The electrical system , including the lights, horn, wipers and battery
    • The exhaust system , including the catalytic converter, manifold, gaskets, muffler and exhaust pipes
    • The cooling system , including the clamps, hoses, radiator and water pump
    • The belts , including the air conditioning belt, the power steering belt and the alternator
We also assess your vehicle’s tires, examining the tread depth, rotating the tires and adjusting pressure as needed, as well as the vehicle’s fluids, checking levels and the quality of the fluids.

    Calgary Tune-Ups

With the rising cost of fuel these days, it pays to keep your vehicle in tune. Our technicians are trained to diagnose any drivability issues, and complete the necessary adjustments and repairs that will return your vehicle to its peak performance and fuel efficiency levels.

A vehicle that is out of tune can waste fuel, increase hydrocarbon and NOx emissions, and shorten the life of emission control devices, such as catalytic converters, and oxygen sensors. In severe cases, vehicle drivability can be adversely impacted.
